SMS Terms
This page is a plain-language summary provided for transparency. It is being finalized and should be reviewed by legal counsel before being relied upon commercially.
ChronosCodex enables agencies to send text messages to clients who have consented. These terms describe the SMS program and the controls in place.
Consent (opt-in)
Recipients must opt in before receiving texts. Consent is recorded on the household record, and agencies are responsible for obtaining valid consent.
Opt-out and help
Recipients can reply STOP to opt out at any time, which sets a do-not-text flag and halts further messages across all send paths. Reply HELP for assistance.
Frequency & rates
Message frequency varies by program. Message and data rates may apply from the recipient's carrier.
Built-in compliance controls
- Do-not-text enforcement on every send path
- Daily category caps and weekend windows for operational messages
- A velocity circuit-breaker to stop runaway loops
