ChronosCodex includes a full business phone system built into your CRM — make and take calls right in the browser, with every call, text, and fax tied to the household it belongs to.
Softphone & business numbers
A built-in softphone lets you place and receive calls from inside ChronosCodex — no separate phone app. Paid plans include a business phone number in the area code you choose at signup, and you can add extra numbers for about $5/month each. Inbound calls pop the matching household so you have the full history in front of you.
Minutes & usage credits
Paid plans include a monthly allowance of calling minutes (Free includes none). When you go beyond the allowance, calls draw from your prepaid Chronos Credits wallet at a simple per-minute rate (rounded up to the minute). You top up the wallet whenever you like and only pay for what you use.
Recording & transcripts
Calls can be recorded and stored on the household timeline. On every paid plan, recordings are automatically transcribed with speaker labels, so you can search and review conversations without replaying audio.
AI receptionist
An AI receptionist answers calls in your preferred language, takes a message, and forwards or alerts your team, so after-hours and overflow calls still become leads, not voicemails. The AI receptionist is billed at a simple $0.20/minute of conversation on every plan. Agency and Brokerage have no setup cost. Free, Solo and Professional can add it for a one-time $50 setup fee, charged once per agency and customized to your workflow, and need an active Chronos phone line (a number included with Solo and Professional, or an extra number at $5/month on Free). We configure the IVR, welcome messages, and AI secretary workflow for you. Included credit is under review and not published.
Fax
Fax available on paid plans; not available on Free. Solo sends faxes; Professional, Agency and Brokerage send and receive faxes on their own number. Each paid plan includes a monthly number of faxes (100 on Solo, 250 on Professional, 500 on Agency, 800 on Brokerage), up to a per-fax page limit; extra pages are $0.05 each. Per-fax page limits: 10 pages per fax on Solo and Professional; 12 on Agency; 15 on Brokerage. Every fax is tied to the household it belongs to.
SMS & texting
Two-way SMS, scheduled campaigns, and auto-replies are built in, with compliance guardrails: daily caps, do-not-text enforcement, and a velocity breaker. Campaign sending windows are enforced for bulk SMS (8:00 AM–6:00 PM ET); always follow TCPA quiet-hours rules for your outreach. See SMS automation for details.
